Support prospective and retrospective HCC review for our Medicare Advantage and value-based contract clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform prospective chart review to identify suspected chronic conditions ahead of scheduled visits
- Conduct retrospective HCC recapture review against RADV documentation standards
- Provide structured feedback to providers on documentation specificity
- Maintain current knowledge of CMS-HCC and RxHCC model updates
Qualifications
- Active CRC certification (AAPC) required
- 2+ years HCC or risk adjustment coding experience
- Familiarity with RADV audit documentation standards
- Detail-oriented with strong pattern recognition for suspect condition identification
